Today is a big day for my @drugwars accounts. I'm setup to get Pharma level 3 on three different accounts. This building costs $10 so it feels pretty nice getting it for free three times on the same day. I had to very carefully buy some troops to make sure the ratios were correct (100/140/180). My silo storage has near zero wiggle room.
For my two newest accounts that are lagging the farthest behind, I've stopped rushing the Pharma 3 and am shooting for Cocina 3. This will allow me to save a lot of resources trying to crank up my Silo levels for now. I'll be able to get Cocina 3 on those accounts today as well, so in general my daily payout is about to get buffed quite a bit. This is where my strategy of never using the Heist is about to kick in.
In addiction addition to getting 5 drug producing buildings, all of my accounts are going to break even today at 4PM during the next payout. I spent 19.8 Steem per account and now all my accounts will be 20+.
another victory for paid-to-game.
I got into an argument yesterday about why @drugwars is not a pyramid scheme. Of course, all pay-to-win resources-per-day games are a little Ponzi Scheme-ish. Good thing no one is making guarantees that you'll make money. That ship has sailed. Or has it?
It might be impossible to reclaim your money spent if you enter now and the rules of the game don't change, but the rules of the game are almost certainly guaranteed to change. If you assume that new mechanics will be revealed that allow opponents to leech value from one another, perhaps it is still safe to enter the market with the expectation of breaking even.
It just all depends on if you trust in the @drugwars dev team. Will they continue to crank out content or not? Considering they made the game in three weeks and they are giving daily updates I have to assume 'yes'.
If anything, everyone should put a few Steem into @drugwars simply because it supports the project. It's not like Steem is just oozing with gaming projects to support. This is literally our only F2P game.
