It was only three days ago that I implored everyone to stop buying Hive and let it crash to 10-12 cents.

Lo and Behold
Hive has crashed to this exact level. I used the opportunity to add on 8000 coins and become an Orca. At this point it could easily dump much lower than that. I'm adding buy orders at lower levels accordingly. Our liquidity is razor thin, and if millions of coins want to dump all at once that's just free flash-crash money.
I feel a bit silly now for not taking my own advice and dumping my last 3 Hive powerdowns into Bitcoin. I really missed out on a free 15k coins. Live and learn I guess. On that note, the price has crashed enough that I'm now taking the opposite action. I've canceled my Hive powerdown and powered all the liquid coins up, putting me at 42k HP.
Full disclosure, if the price goes back up to where it was I'm going to dump these 8k coins back to Bitcoin as I remain dangerously overexposed to this network.
#Fun fact: It would only take 5 BTC on Bittrex to get Hive back up to the level it was yesterday (0.000018 to 0.000025). That's how crazy thin our liquidity is right now. @theycallmeday has also offered to buy in mass (100k min) at this level via under-the-table deals.
Another Fun Fact:
Because I've been cashing out all my Steem powerdowns into Bitcoin, I've sold around 10k Steem at 17 cents, yet I've only just got purchased Hive for the first time at 11 cents (8k). This means I'm still largely in the green in terms of how much Bitcoin I own. Hopefully we can capitalize on some more volatility going forward.
Isn't it interesting that Hive dumps right after JSun imposes a softfork that freezes the accounts of 8 big stakeholders? What a coincidence! Honestly though, isn't it obvious that he hasn't gone far enough in terms of freezing accounts? He's only frozen like what? 17M coins?
How much more stake wants to exit Steem now that he's performed this action? I count the hours until my next powerdown on Thursday. My money is not safe, and neither is yours if you took part in the voting wars. Scratch that, no one's money is safe because the entire platform is completely centralized and bows to the whim of a single individual. HODLers beware!
Bitcoin isn't a safe-haven asset.
LOL, yeah... okay.
It's a unicorn asset.
Just wait until the end of the year.
I 'guarantee' at least a return to normal at $12.8k
The legacy economy? Not so much.
2020 Bitcoin baseline values.

Fair market value for Bitcoin is still higher than what it's currently trading at. What do we think is going to happen when the economy reopens? What do we think is going to happen when the halving kicks in at the same time? According to the FUD, we're going to crash back to $4k. I'm not so sure, and even if it did I expect a strong and swift recovery. Literally everyone still seems to have their tunnel-vision fear goggles on.

I didn't realize this, but apparently @steemchiller's airdrop was actually denied due to a bug, as he changed his votes just in the nick of time. He's automatically going to receive his airdrop during the next hardfork, whenever that may be, along with all those other accounts. Good to see more people getting what they deserve, even if they are just going to dump it on the market. We'll see.

Yesterday as I entered Amazon SMF5 I asked what would happen if I declined to have my temperature taken. They said I'd have to speak with HR about it and they'd want to know the reasons why. I didn't pursue it much further than that, as it wasn't worth it to me. The testing stations got a bit of an upgrade yesterday so I didn't have to bow down like I was kneeling for a king, so that was nice.
It obviously does however set a very bad precedent to force employees to do something like that of a medical nature. What happens if they want to force a vaccine on me later? Those conversations could get a bit uglier. However, I'm no Martyr, and simply voicing my discontent at the moment is enough for me, as it allows me to have a history to stand on if things happen to escalate further from here. I guess we'll see how it goes.
