You heard that right, crypto junkies!
Last night I realized I had a "ton" of money in my bank account. I never let my balance get that high, I always just buy more crypto. So I decided "fuck it" and for the first time in a while I threw a couple hundred bucks down with the intent to stack some sats.
I wake up in the morning looking for my email and how long it's going to take (usually 5 business days) and I have no email. I was seriously questioning if I had even clicked the button and made the transfer at all!
But then I realized the money was ALREADY IN MY ACCOUNT.
Baller.
This is actually a huge win for Coinbase... people want their crypto and they want it now. When the market can shift like a whirlwind in a week's time, being forced to wait 5 business days is an eternity. This feature sets them apart from other exchanges in a big way.
I'm still a bit salty that they doubled their fees last year from 0.25% to 0.5% AND removed the fee discount from being a market maker (unless you are a whale trading bot) but they still have the huge advantage of being able to transfer money off the platform for zero fees. Wonder how long that will last if Bitcoin fees spike back up to $50. Eh whatever, enjoy it while it lasts.
When list Hive?
As a side note, I am only comfortable buying Bitcoin at this time. Ethereum and Hive are unpredictable at the moment, and I've abandoned all other projects. Feels nice.
If I were to go back into speculation mode and start throwing money everywhere again I'd probably be looking at Dogecoin or Nano.
Dogecoin simply because they have a strong and well known community and for some reason Elon Musk can't seem to stfu about them. No idea what's up with that. In addition, the unit-bias brain-hacking of Dogecoin can not be overstated. Uninformed people simply see that they can buy 300 coins with a single dollar and they freak out and think that's a good deal. Silly humans!
Nano because they have a history of having extremely thin liquidity and high volatility. Also because DAG technology has never been appreciated before, and it is infinitely scalable and quantum resistant.
I've always wanted to learn more about Digibyte and their community... I hear they are gamers... which is cool. So am I. Unfortunately I'm not about to invest my time into another community like that when I'm more interested in making games on Hive.
Oh! Also Tron is a good one!
LOL! Just Kidding. Let's burn Tron to the ground!
A part of me also wishes I owned a tiny bit of MonaCoin because like Dogecoin they are community based (Japan... and I love Japan) and they have a stupid animal mascot as well in the form of an anime cat. People love that shit.
Litecoin and Monero seem pretty solid as well. I'm surprised all these coins I'm listing are pretty much just POW wealth transfer coins. Pretty weird. I guess Obyte/GBYTE is another one of those longshots that even Hive has experience with due to Drugwars.
Gonna kill it here before I just list every coin in existence.
