How many times has this happened to you?

You were just minding your business watching stepsister porn when along comes this hacker blackmailing you with videos of yourself masturbating to said videos! Gah! Not AGAIN! Damn it!

Hmmmm where have I seen this before.

Someone's been watching some Black Mirror!

You naughty troll 'hacker' you!

So of course you need to pay the oddly specific $1713 ransom in Bitcorns because what else are you gonna do? Let him send your jerk-off videos to everyone and their mothers? Hell no! You gotta pay up! You made $1713 yield farming CUB last week and the hacker obviously knows it because he's hacked all your devices! He's not asking for much, just pay the man! So you do.

But then what happens if the hacker decides to go all Black Mirror on your ass and posts the video anyway like the Naughty Nelly they are? What if they ask for more money? What do you do? How frustrating! There's nothing you can do!

UNTIL NOW!

Bitcoinfixesthis.png

Crypto fixes this!

Because now we have bonded liquidity pools specifically designed to build trust between victim and abuser! Using our patented technology, anyone can set up a ransom LP yield that will pay off the attacker indefinitely within a permanent real-time income stream, ensuring that they have no financial incentive to leak your no-no videos or otherwise pursue further attacks. If they violate the agreement, simply pull their funding! It's that simple!

Mutually assured destruction is the future of crypto!

Now, I know what you're thinking:

Well what happens if it's not blackmail? What happens if the ransom I need to pay is something more serious like a kidnapping?

bootabusepornstockholmslaveterror.jpeg Try not to fall in love with your captors. RansomWork™ cannot fix Stockholm Syndrom, yet™.

Imagine your traditional legacy kidnapping scene:

Meeting in a dark alley with a million in dollars cash, hoping that both sides will not betray each other while the cash-prize honeypot sits unsecured out in the open? No one needs that! This is a recipe for disaster!

We got you covered, fam!

Kidnapping can get complicated, but we're here to guide you through it. With our patented technology, the victim of the kidnapping must activate the RansomWork™ LP software after they've been released by their captors. Once the RansomWork™ LP has been set up, all the money gets permanently locked in the smart-contract. No one can modify it, not even the network itself. Wow!

There is no backing out of the contract once it's been set up.

RansomWork™ will not pay yield out to the naughty nappers until it has been activated by the freed victim (or the victim's family) once they've been released. It is in this way that the kidnappers can rest easy knowing that the LP will be activated, or else the victim will be permanently marked for the rest of their short lives! The contract can only be released or killed, just like the victim themselves. The money can not be recovered by the victim. So just activate the thing on release: or you'll be sorry! A killed contract implies a killed victim, and vice versa. Code is law!

privatemilitarycompanymercenaryransom.jpg

But wait, there's more!

Because at RansomWork™, our censorship resistant network hires only the best and most talented mercenaries and assassins who's sole purpose is to ruthlessly murder anyone who thinks they can hack the network. How cool is that!?! These smart-contracts are signed in blood, and either party attempting to violate the terms of the agreement absolutely will be hunted down and shot on site. Now that's a promise you can count on, boy howdy! Play nice out there. That's an order!

So stock up on RSW tokens today!

Okay I think I'm done writing this satire.

So yeah the email is obviously real... really cracked me up considering he "has bad news to share with me" and at the end he gives me great advice to change my passwords often so this doesn't happen to me again. What a considerate blackmailer this guy is, much appreciated.

Not to mention the oddly specific $1713 USD ransom, on top of telling me to Google Bitcoin if I don't know how it works. Then again I guess nothing beats the climatic ending where I'm told not to worry and I can trust this person. What a riot.

I wonder if this blog post about the scammer will make more money than the scammer himself... hm! https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/bc1qfup4q7hmhmk602mfyey4etwf5f5qcxpg768q5y No donations yet! Sad scammer is sad. Maybe I'll send him some pity sats the next time I get drunk. Good for a laugh knowing they'll be dusted and unmovable due to high fees.

Another weird thing that happened today was that my girlfriend directed me to this TikTokker that basically found a new crypto project that's trying to create a prediction market for the outcome of legally-binding court cases. Can you imagine? Having a secondary derivative betting pool on court cases that would likely affect the final outcome of some of them? lol wow!

Of course the question posed by the TikTokker is the obvious one:

Doesn't this sound like a bad idea?

Of course it's a bad idea!

But that doesn't mean you can stop them from building and implementing it! Yikes! All I could think of was: Wow, that's going to happen one day sooner or later. It's impossible to censor these things. Pandora's box has been opened.

pandorasbox.jpg

What's in the box, man!

So as ridiculous as it sounds to make a token that would facilitate trust between a blackmailer and the victim... you know I bet it will exist one day. In fact, I bet way crazier shit will get invented that totally blindside society in ways that were never even considered possible. Who knows what can happen when Middle Schoolers can be millionaires.

LOL @ 2017

Imagine what happens when blockchain gaming takes over.

Conclusion

Crypto is all about removing intermediaries and providing trust between two parties that don't necessarily trust each other. What better niche than creating a permanently-bonded yield farm to shut up your blackmailer until the end of time? Got a pesky female employee that's been sexually harassed one to many times? No problem: pay her off with RansomWork™.

RansomWork™: that'll shut her up.

Kek

I'm the worst. BRB gonna hang myself. Ah nm I'll probably just end up watching more porn. Too soon?
