After removing all temporary witnesses and returning Steem to the community, on April 4, 2020, the current top 20 community witnesses launched Soft Fork 22.8888, which they believe that “this temporary Softfork is to adjust and protect the future of the Steem community”. We would like to notice that Steemit, Inc., along with the Tron Foundation did not anticipate this to happen and we would like to stay neutral regarding this situation.

So now Steemit is actually trying to say that the community has decided to implement the fork that freezes accounts. In the wake of them actively removing witnesses from the top 20 (blockbrothers) who didn't agree this is absolutely laughable.

I went to the SCT community to talk about this shitshow, and they support the freezing of accounts. They don't see any problem with it. All they talk about is: Where's my Hive airdrop? They are hypocritical pathological liars. I sat in awe of their mental gymnastics as they once again justify this ridiculous scenario.

It's really incredible because no one has anything to gain by freezing these accounts. Steem can only lose. This is a revenge issue only. The initial post about the fork claimed it needed to be done to secure the network. This is an obvious outright lie as well.

This entire situation has lawsuits written all over it now. I read that Binance and Tron are already getting sued by the SEC for securities fraud. This situation is the icing on the cake. Justin is even risking getting delisted from exchanges over this, yet it seems the remaining Steem community is literally going to follow Justin right off a cliff. If I had any thoughts of sticking around for this shit show before, they've been completely dashed away. I'm afraid about even cross-posting about this topic because I don't want to put a target on my own back.

Conclusion

Once again the Steem community that sides with Justin Sun is being warned that what they are doing is a grave error. Once again they're going to get completely fucked over for not listening. I'm done trying to reason with them. They just lost everything.

I've personally already received more money from dumping my Steem than I ever thought possible. I did not think Sun would prop up the value with his own bankroll. I just have to hope that I don't get targeted before the powerdown completes.
