And at the foundation is money
Just got back from the doctors office for the first time in years. It was interesting to get front row seats to the circus that is healthcare. They tried to push a flu shot on me, then a tetanus shot, then a chiropractor, then metal health facilities, etc.
Over the last few years, I've become much more sensitive and paranoid about the intentions of the people around me when money is involved. Doctors now sound like salesmen to me.
That being said. I'm glad my primary care provider is a woman, as male doctors are insufferable walking talking God complexes in my experience.
I took the bloodwork, as that actually might give me some indication of the issues I've been having. It's a weird feeling: hoping a test will show that something is wrong with you rather than coming back normal. At the same time one has to hope that the issue is treatable, and not some heinous aliment like cancer.
Speaking of treatments, what a coincidence that they are all so expensive. When we're not getting fleeced by central banking and corporations we're getting tag-teamed by the trifecta of doctors, pharmaceuticals, and insurance. Personally, I think this is even more of a problem than being exploited by central bankers and incorporated entities. There are ways to opt out of those systems. It's not so easy to opt out of your own well-being.
Diet and Exercise
The only advice doctors seem to give that doesn't involve wealth transference is this. Across the board, all doctors agree that proper diet and exercise is one of the best ways to ensure one's lasting health over time. What does this tell us? That doctors, despite their overwhelming knowledge and education, actually know very little about the human body in the grand scheme of things.
The main solution of preventing illness and staying healthy is to treat your body right so it can regulate itself. Therefore, why aren't we leaning more into that? Why are we coming up with expensive artificial solutions when we could be trying to strengthen the defenses that already exist?
The ultimate example is chemotherapy. The strategy here is to pump your body full of toxins and hope that the cancer dies and the patient doesn't. In 100 years humanity will look back at our barbaric methods in disgust. Don't forgot to put some leeches on them as well.
If diet is so important then why is hospital food on par with prison food? Honestly, I've never eaten hospital food, but I've seen it a few times. That combined with the testimonials is all I need. Seriously, it's gross. At least when you're in prison you can pay to get higher quality food.
This all ties into the hypocritical themes of healthcare.
Even the mantra of doctors is the Hippocratic Oath.
"Do no harm."
How fitting.
Hypocrisy of Hippocrates
The problem here is, and always has been, money. These Goliath industries need to be monetized in order to scale and support themselves. This creates a slew of problems.
Studies done to determine what is and isn't healthy for us are manipulated according to who's in control of the study and how they benefit from a certain outcome.
An entire branch of the medical field is ignored because it can't be monetized. There are thousands of holistic medicinal treatments; most of them considered quackery by mainstream doctors and thus by mainstream society itself. If I'm being honest, a lot of it is quackery, but at the same time a lot of it is not.
Holistic medicine is a form of healing that considers the whole person -- body, mind, spirit, and emotions -- in the quest for optimal health and wellness. ... A holistic doctor may use all forms of health care, from conventional medication to alternative therapies, to treat a patient.
No one is spending the money to figure out what works and what doesn't because there's no money to be made by making those distinctions. In addition, by definition, holistic medicine is contrary to Occam's Razor which makes it extremely difficult to isolate variables and determine the effectiveness of particular treatments.
Placebo Effect and Mind-Over-Matter
In short, the Placebo Effect is quite definitive proof that the human body can be manipulated into healing itself with tactics that we do not understand. The act of taking a sugar pill can give one positive results. In traditional studies, a placebo group is formed with the express intent of isolating that variable and removing it from the experiment.
I say again, instead of learning as much as we can about our body's own defenses, we willfully ignore and cancel out these variables in traditional studies in order to prove the efficacy of artificial solutions manufactured by a multi-billion dollar industry. If only there were some way to monetize all the medical science that we throw out the window on a daily basis.
Ultimate Hypocrisy
And so, when doctors acknowledge that diet, exercise, stress, depression, and a slew of other variables has a huge affect on health, yet continue to deny alternate forms of healthcare that can't be monopolized, it's pretty easy to guess that something fishy is going on.
Conclusion
There's profit to be made in poisoning the air. There's profit to be made in poisoning the water. There's profit to be made in poisoning the land. There's profit to be made in taking care of the sick who are surrounded by poison.
